Nutrition 

Lindsay has been a practicing registered dietitian for over 10 years. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science and completed her didactic dietetic internship at the University of Rhode Island.

Lindsay is board certified both locally and nationally as a diabetes educator and specializes in Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for individuals with type 1 and type 2 diabetes and also gestational diabetes. Throughout her 10 years as an RD she has also gained expertise in MNT for cardiovascular disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disorders, metabolic disorders, gastrointestinal problems, disordered eating, nutrition counseling for bariatric surgery, and weight management. 

Lindsay is passionate about nutrition and helping people find their healthy balance.  She finds great pleasure connecting with individuals one on one, helping them set and achieve realistic goals that fit their lifestyle and feel good. She also enjoys working with groups through nutrition and diabetes education classes as well as nutrition education talks or presentations to small businesses and organizations.
